the movement project, The Anti Gym Gym Club, Girls To The Front and Jeni Sloane bring you MoveWALES, two mornings of uplifting movement across Saturday and Sunday - come to individual days or make a weekend of it.

Neil has a lifetime of experience as a coach and is a MovNat certified trainer. He will guide you through our 'movement playground'. We'll explore elements of flow, balance, physical puzzles & reactions that will redefine the relationship we have with ourselves and the environment that surrounds us. Bring a smile and dive in.

Owen is the founder of the ANTI GYM GYM CLUB and is on a mission to empower everyone with the confidence and capacity to become the healthiest, happiest human they can be.

Owen harnesses big energy and play to make a serious impact to your strength and conditioning. Immerse yourself in the spirit and philosophy of the ANTI GYM GYM CLUB and discover what it’s like to get back to movement fundamentals in the least gym-like gym you’ll ever set foot in.

Jeni is an osteopath and has been teaching yoga for over 10 years whilst running wellbeing workshops for children in schools & communities. As an adventure sport enthusiast, she loves the way yoga invites curiosity & compassion, with ourselves, our community & the world around us. A perfect way to reset after a morning of calling upon our bodies to move.
As adventurers, runners, movement enthusiasts, most of our cues are external. This session will offer us a chance to look inside, listen to our bodies & respond from a place of compassion & connection. Freeing up space to move with presence & ease.

13:30 | Zine Making with Mickey.
Find your voice. Be a bigger part of your community. Be the pebble in the pond.
Mickey will guide you through a workshop to help you think more intentionally and what you can do to shine the spotlight on others, lifting up everyBODY in your sphere.
Dr Mickey James is the founder of Girls To The Front and a children’s health and wellbeing
research officer at Swansea University with a doctorate in human and health science.
Specialising in the health and wellbeing of young people, her work encompasses play,
physical activity, and co-production, ensuring that young people have their voices heard.
As the founder of GTTF, she aims to empower young girls to use their voice, take up space
and be their own brand. Through in-person functional fitness sessions, Zine workshops and
health and wellbeing education, Mickey provides safe and inclusive environments that prioritise autonomy, fun and a DIY ethos.
From coaching to researching to living life, the goal is to break boundaries and rewrite the rules.

A powerful way to close out the day through insights, story telling and sharing. Our aim is for everyBODY to leave the day empowered, energised and with a spring in their step.

Organise, mobilise and co-ordinate our structure to be more efficient in the way we move, injury free and feel better aligned to the world we operate in.
Morning Forms is a series of joint articulations with it's roots in martial form, Qi-Gong, Thai-Chi & Yoga. It is designed to nourish you, ground you and help you get ready to move.
Start your day with a contemplative flow on the clifftops with us.
10:00 | Running Workshop.
Love it or hate it, we'll take the mystique of 'how to run', what running is, that it's OK to walk, that you don't need to be blowing a gasket and show you some neat techniques to improve your efficiency, speed (if you want to go quicker) and if you want to go longer - what you'll need to consider if that's your jam.
11:00 | Yoga with Jenni
We return to our mats, surrounded by nature in a session to help you stay injury free, have bombproof knees and recover tired legs.
12:00 | Lunch
13:00 | Guided Walk or Run to Hunts Bay.
We connect with ourselves and our environment. Conversations emerge - inspiration shared. We'll split in to groups; those who are confident runners will hit the trails with Neil. He knows a thing or two about running having accidentally completed 2 back-to-back ultra marathons in 2021 although will tell you he's not really a 'proper runner'. If you prefer to head out for a run/walkMickey will guide you. If you prefer a walk - we got you. No-one will be left behind.
We run or run/walk or walk to connect, to flow, to listen, to share. If we walk, we're still moving. If we stop, we're still together.
We're leaving our time on the beach open to revisit parts of the practise that we can dive a little deeper into. Bring your swimmers too - we can have a dip in the sea to close out the weekend.

Jeni, Mickey, Owen & Neil will take the themes of practise across the weekend and weave into a clifftop session of exploration and empowerment to leave you feeling ready to take on the world
