the movement project and You For Coffee / The Arc bring you a new concept in co-working. the co-working movement club runs on Wednesday and Friday afternoons in the light and airy surroundings of You For Coffee at 7 Howard Street, Bedford.
the co-working movement club is here to do exactly what it says on the tin: do your best work, shake off the effects of sitting and make connections with fellow coffee shop surfers in the area.
we'll be offering (optional) 5 minute movement snacks led by Neil every hour to get you feeling your best and refocus your mind ready for the next meeting, task or email.
take a break from your screen and headphones with us.
THE WORK SPACE:
wonderfully spacious and bathed in natural light, You For Coffee has tasty food/drinks and a range of benches, tables & standing desks for you to chose from. fast wifi and plenty of plug sockets give you all the power you need.
we'll be there from 1.30-5.00pm on Wednesdays & Fridays. you can drop in as and when - it's super flexi.
once you sign up, you'll be given a special co-working movement club loyalty card which you can get stamped to get free coffee and cakes. nice!
THE MOVEMENT SNACKS:
the optional five-minute movement snacks will be:
1. a chance to stretch and move to counteract the effects of long periods of siting.
2. cognitively challenging to help refocus and move our thinking away from our Default Mode Network.
3. an invitation to shift our view of 'fitness' and see movement differently.
4. suitable for all ages and movement backgrounds.
the movement snacks definitely won't be:
1. sweaty [no-one wants to jump in on their next call like that].
2. require any pre-requisite strength or experience.
the optional movement snacks will be at 2.30, 3.30 and 4.30pm.

Neil has a lifetime of experience as a coach, is a MovNat L2 certified Trainer, Tennis coach and accidental Ultra-Marathon runner. Neil explores flow, balance, movement patterns and rhythm that seeks to redefine the relationship we have with ourselves and the environment that surrounds us with a deep curiosity of what's possible and a playful approach to challenge preconceived expectations.
