the movement project, Michelle Flynn & Ben Medder bring you MoveLONDON. A gathering of uplifting movement for mind and body from 9.30am-3.30pm on Saturday 15th July 2023.
We will be based at various spots throughout Hampstead Heath, London and will send precise locations to those who register. We've split the day in to morning & afternoon sessions with space to allow for refreshments and toilet breaks. You can attend the full day or register for the morning/afternoon sessions separately.
9.30am | Registration.
Meet the team and connect with the people in the movement project community. We'll take a stroll up to our first location on the Heath of together or you can make your way there under your own steam if you prefer.
10.00am | The Movement Playground.
Neil has a lifetime of experience as a coach and is a L2 MovNat certified trainer. He will guide you through our movement playground. We'll explore elements of flow, balance, physical puzzles & reactions that will seek to redefine the relationship we have with ourselves, others and the environment that surrounds us. This session is for all entry points with no specific experience required.
Bring a smile and dive in, wearing comfortable kit.
11.15am | Move Your Mind
Michelle is a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Practitioner, Certified International Health Coach, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach with a Gut Health Certification, Experienced Life Coach and Mental Health in Recruitment Ambassador. Whew! She works with hundreds of individuals and across companies to help people better understand and achieve their health and happiness goals.
Michelle will take us through a 'Move your Mind' workshop, inspiring us to set realistic life-changing habits - and then maintain them. Our mindset on how we approach life in all its rich and varied tapestry is integral to us being our best version of ourselves.
Bring a yoga mat or blanket, your favourite journal & pen. Be prepared to make a shift_
12.15pm | Break for lunch
1.15pm | Move With The Trees | Rope Flow
Ben is a movement coach and founder of Move with the Seasons and Move with the Trees practice. He guides & leads inquisitive people to understand, sustain & enjoy how their bodies move, whilst empowering them to solve challenges they may face. He has taught internationally and is a Fighting Monkey instructor and an Evolve Move Play natural movement coach.
He sees movement practice as a chance to reconnect and observe relationships with body, people and place. Discover the most authentic expression of yourself.
We'll be exploring Ben's world through two areas of his practise; Move With the Trees & Rope Flow. This session caters for all levels of experience.
Don't wear your Sunday best. You might get a little grubby.
2.30pm | Breathe & Reflect.
Matt is a Master Oxygen Advantage® Breathwork Instructor and Leadership Coach . His breath training sessions will help optimise your respiratory system and access a world of clear thinking, untapped energy, and a sense of calm. It's powerful stuff.
Bring a yoga mat, blanket, journal and your favourite pen.
Clarity is always available - we just need to find a way to access it.

You should bring drinks, snacks and any specialist food items you might need for the day as we'll take breaks between each session to recharge, refuel and move location. There will be ample opportunity to pop to a cafe/toilet at lunchtime as there are limited facilities on Hampstead Heath.
Our philosophy is 'no one left behind'. It runs through the core of everything we do.
You don't require any particular level of "fitness" (whatever that means) to attend our sessions. It's not a boot camp. Our 'Move' sessions are for the curious and the inquisitive. We seek to redefine the way that we view what movement can mean to us, for our bodies and minds. We are fascinated in how that can translate to everyday life.
Maybe it's a new way of igniting your body in preparation to move, maybe it's a more traditional yoga-type practise with a guest teacher, maybe it's an opportunity to play with your reactions/agility for the first time since school, maybe it's an opportunity to explore flow states. Whatever we do, it's for every-body and we can work with any specific needs you may have by making adaptations to suit where appropriate.
If you've never done breathwork before, we'll guide you through step-by-step safely and securely. Matt is a Master Oxygen Advantage Instructor and has taught people across the globe from Team GB athletes to those wishing to recover from illness how to breath better.
We hand-pick and invite teachers to share their practise to enrich our Move events, ensuring they are suitably qualified & insured.
