the movement project, Yoga with Lenka and Kevin Silous Yoga bring you MoveBEDFORD; two mornings of uplifting movement across Saturday and Sunday. Come to individual days or make a weekend of it.
Saturday morning, 7th October will be based in one of the Dance Studios at University of Bedfordshire, Pollhill Avenue, Bedford. MK41 9EA.
Sunday morning, 8th October will be based in Rowney Warren Woods, Chicksands. Beds.

The day's theme is "Curiosity" - Shift your perspective on what's possible and how that can relate to everyday life.

9am | Breathwork Masterclass with Matt Bagwell
Matt is a Master Oxygen Advantage® Breathwork Instructor and Leadership Coach . His breath training sessions will help optimise your respiratory system and access a world of clear thinking, untapped energy, and a sense of calm. It's powerful stuff. Bring a journal and your favourite pen. Clarity is always available - we just need to find a way to access it.
10.45am | Yoga with Lenka
Lenka is a joyful free spirited yogini from Slovakia, who has married into this country and since been sharing her love for all things yoga with her growing yoga community in Bedfordshire.
Lenka loves creating & holding space for others through her Ananda yoga festival, workshops, classes, retreats & cacao ceremonies. Lenka also facilitates breathwork and Cold-water therapy as part of her way to take people deeper into self-discovery & self-awareness, overcoming fears and tapping into one’s own intuition. Lenka brings a modern lens to this ancient art.
Lenka will help you to get confidently upside down with her accessible handstands workshop. We will flip our perspective and clear our minds by focussing on the fundamentals of handstand practise through specific movements to prepare our bodies. If you've not done handstands since you were a kid, don't worry, this class will be fun and accessible to with modifications to suit everyone . Just trust the process and see what's possible!
12 noon | Movement Playground with Neil Frankel
Neil has a lifetime of experience as a coach, is a MovNat L2 certified Trainer, Tennis coach and accidental Ultra-Marathon runner. Neil explores flow, balance, movement patterns and rhythm that seeks to redefine the relationship we have with ourselves and the environment that surrounds us with a deep curiosity of what's possible and a playful approach to challenge preconceived expectations.

9am | Morning Form & Qi-Gong with Kevin Silous
The founder of Peaceful Path Yoga in Bedford, Kevin Silous is a teacher of Yoga, Meditation & Martial Arts. Kevin has a wealth of experience of movement traditions including Hatha, Anusara, Vinyasa Flow, Iyengar, and Yin Yoga alongside a 6th Dan in Kickboxing and 2nd Dan in Ju-Jitsu.
Kevin will guide you through a movement meditation based on Qi-Gong and martial form to ground you and prepare your mind/body for the day ahead.
10.30am | Run, jog or walk with us.
As part of our 'Move' days we like to get out in to nature. We can connect with ourselves and our environment. Conversations emerge - inspiration shared. We'll split in to three groups; those who are confident runners will hit the trails with Matt. He knows a thing or two about running, having completed an epic journey in 2021 covering 21 ultra marathons in 21 days. If running is new to you, Neil will lead you on a gentle run/walk. Neil accidentally completed 2 back-to-back ultra marathons with Matt in 2021 although will tell you he's not really a 'proper runner'. If you prefer to head out for a walk, Kirsten will guide you through a wonderful rwoodland loop. No-one will be left behind.
We run or run/walk or walk to connect, to flow, to listen, to share. If we walk, we're still moving. If we stop, we're still together.
12 noon | Exploration of Flow with Matt Bagwell & Neil Frankel
Join Matt & Neil from the movement project on an exploration of movement away from the yoga mat using breathwork and movement practise to explore flow state. Channeling Sunday morning energy into life-affirming moments. Expect some 'a-ha' moments of insight as we intertwine physical and cognitive processes together.
