trail tuesdays is a 5K chatty run with no-one left behind. incorporating a Grateful Mile, we'll connect gratitude to however you move to inspire positive change, improve mental health and create deeper connections in your local community and the trails around the river bank.
if you're not a runner or just not feeling it on the day, we're holding space for a walking group too and we'll all convene together for a morning coffee at 08:15.
trail tuesdays could be a gateway into movement for you or create another positive habit in your life. the science and benefits of giving and receiving gratitude through our colaboration with the folk from Grateful Mile are powerful [see our blog] and like everything, it takes consistency to exercise this muscle too.
DATES & TIMES:
07:30 every Tuesday for a dosage of movement, connection & purpose.
Meeting point: The Suspension Bridge, Embankment. Bedford.
BEING IN NATURE:
trail tuesdays will take place whatever the weather, come rain or shine. being outside in nature allows us to down-regulate our nervous system and to forge a better relationship with our hometown.
please come prepared for the conditions and bring any snacks / hydration you might need.
HOW TO REGISTER:
it's super simple and free to register. we just need some emergency contact details and for you to let us know if you have any existing injuries or medical conditions that you feel we should be aware of to make trail tuesdays and the grateful mile the best possible experience.
we never, ever pass on details to any third party as we know how annoying that is.
KEEP IN THE LOOP:
we've created a WhatsApp community to share all the latest up to date informatio.
we'll keep you in the loop if there are any changes to the meeting location, timings, expected weather conditions and any other ad-hoc running/walking events we're hosting in the area.
we've turned off the ability for everyone to post in this group so you won't get spammed with pictures of everyones incredible dinners and their cute dogs.
COST:
trail tuesdays is free to attend. however, if you would like to 'buy us a coffee' to say thanks you can do so here. this will help us to support people on low income / out of work continue to attend our other sessions throughout the week.
our sessions accessible to everyBODY. no-one left behind means no-one left behind.
always available if you want to chat... neil@themovementproject.uk
