9:30am | Move Your Body
Neil Frankel has a lifetime of experience as a leader and coach. He is a MovNat certified trainer, accidental Ultra Marathon Runner and a huge advocate of moving naturally with efficiency.
Neil will guide you through a 'movement playground' - an opportunity to explore flow, balance, reactions & rhythm to move us away from the confines of the gym and redefine the relationship we have with ourselves, "fitness" and the environment that surrounds us.
Bring a smile and dive in, wearing comfortable kit.
11:00am | Move Your Mind
Özlem Imil is a dedicated health and wellness advocate on a mission to revolutionise the way we approach health & wellbeing. She is committed to creating a transformed system where individuals have a deep understanding of, and control over, their bodies and minds.
Özlem pivoted her career 11 years ago to become a Personal Performance and Executive Coach. Her extensive background spans the public, corporate, and charity sectors, where she has excelled as a leadership coach, mentor, and trainer.
At MoveDOCKLANDS, Özlem will lead us on a deep dive into why we need to have a better understanding of, and regulation over our bodies and minds.
Bring a journal and your favourite pen. Clarity is always available - we just need to find a way to access it.
11:30am | Building a Deeper Connection to Nature: Nature Journalling, Techniques and Everyday Inspiration
Kirsten Proctor is an everyday explorer who loves to escape the daily grind by spending time outside deepening her connection with nature. Kirsten has a Post Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture and has undertaken a range of roles in nature conservation organisations encouraging people to enjoy and appreciate the countryside. She collects inspiration and practices that foster a stronger connection with nature and bring calm in this increasingly busy world.
As part of MoveDOCKLANDS, we’ll be exploring the more-than-human-world and increasing our sense of wonder through a nature journalling workshop. Kirsten will guide us through a series of activities, gently encouraging us to take cues from nature to awaken the senses, reflect and engage with our surroundings to find calm.
