Run Grateful is a mindful movement collective that connects gratitude to running, jogging, hiking and walking or however you move to inspire positive change, improve mental health and create deeper connections in your local community.
for some of us, a mile is a long way, for others, the grateful mile might be a warm up. wherever you're at, we'll take the mile together - at a pace that suits everyone. no-one will be left behind.
after the collective mile, some of us might continue on a run/walk, some of us might make our way for a coffee..
the grateful mile could be a gateway into movement for you or create another positive habit in your life. the science and benefits of giving and receiving gratitude are powerful [see our blog] and like everything, it takes consistency to exercise this muscle too.

BEING IN NATURE:
we will take our grateful mile whatever the weather, come rain or shine. being outside in nature allows us to down-regulate our nervous systems and to forge a better relationship with our hometown.
we are designed to move outside but please come prepared for the conditions and bring any snacks / hydration you might need.
HOW TO REGISTER:
it's super simple and free to register. we just need some emergency contact details and for you to let us know if you have any existing injuries or medical conditions that you feel we should be aware of to make your grateful mile the best possible experience.
we never, ever pass on details to any third party as we know how annoying that is.
KEEP IN THE LOOP:
we've created a WhatsApp community to share all the latest up to date information about the grateful mile sessions.
we'll keep you in the loop if there are any changes to the meeting location, timings, expected weather conditions and any other ad-hoc grateful miles we'll be running/walking in the area.
we've turned off the ability for everyone to post in this group so you won't get spammed with pictures of everyones incredible dinners and their cute dogs.
COST:
the grateful mile is free to attend. however, if you would like to 'buy us a coffee' to say thanks you can do so here. this will help us to support people on low income / out of work continue to attend our other sessions throughout the week.
our sessions accessible to everyBODY. no-one left behind means no-one left behind.
always available if you want to chat... neil@themovementproject.uk
