10.00pm | Movement Playground with Neil Frankel
Neil has a lifetime of experience as a coach, is a MovNat L2 certified Trainer, Tennis coach and accidental Ultra-Marathon runner. Neil explores flow states through working with movement patterns and capabilities when standing and on the ground. By playing with rhythm and efficiency we seek to redefine the relationship we have with ourselves, others and the environment that surrounds us. In simplistic terms, it could be said it's yoga without the mat but that's not all !!
Neil has a deep curiosity of what's possible and a playful approach to challenge preconceived expectations. There is no wrong or right, just what suits our bodies as we take a look to evolve into a more capable human.
12.00 noon | Lunch
Break some bread, refuel, rest & digest ready for the afternoon session.
1.00pm | Yoga with Anna White
Anna is an experienced yoga and paddleboard instructor who has been teaching yoga for over 18yrs and runs her own studio in the heart of Bovey Tracey. Anna loves to combine yoga and well-being within the natural surroundings where she lives including beach yoga, paddleboard yoga, glamping retreats, moorland retreats, sunrise & sunset paddleboarding excursions and festival yoga.
Anna will guide us through a yang to yin practice exploring the relationship between movement and stillness. Starting with yang through flow, moving at your own pace and giving you time to pause, feel and respond. Focusing on mindful movement and feeling good rather than an end goal or aesthetic posture. The second half of our session will focus on a grounding, releasing yin practice where we can explore postures a little deeper through stillness and breathwork, concluding in a deep relaxation.

As part of our 'Move' days we like to get out in to nature. We can connect with ourselves and our environment. Conversations emerge - inspiration shared. We know it will be cold - it's December. But if we wrap up well and bring enough drinks and fuel for the day, we reckon on this being an invigorating day out in nature.
8.45am | Registration & Meet at Newbridges.
Meet the team and settle in. Exact meeting point will be sent upon registration.
9am | Meditation Led by Pretzel Studio and walk to Sharrah Pool.
Anna White will lead us on a short meditation as we take a beautiful walk to our base at Sharrah Pool through a riverside path that meanders through beautiful woodland. We walk to connect, to flow, to listen, to share. If we stop, we're still together. No-one left behind.
10.00am | morning.form. with Neil Frankel
An exploration of morning.form and connection with the senses Through the lens of standing movement meditations based on Zero Forms (Fighting Monkey) & the daily practise of the Ferus Animi // Terra Nova collective to ground you and prepare your mind/body for the day ahead.
Our intention with this session is to share our morning practise to help you devise your own routine. morning.form. is tailored to you by you.
11.30am | Unlock your connection to nature: A workshop exploring nature journalling, techniques and inspiration with Kirsten Proctor
Kirsten is an everyday explorer who loves to escape the daily grind by spending time outside deepening her connection with nature. Kirsten has a Post Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture and has undertaken a range of roles in nature conservation organisations encouraging people to enjoy and appreciate the countryside. She collects inspiration and practices that foster a stronger connection with nature and bring calm in this increasingly busy world.
As part of MoveDEVON, we’ll be exploring the more-than-human-world and increasing our sense of wonder through a nature journalling workshop. Kirsten will guide us through a series of activities, gently encouraging us to take cues from nature to awaken the senses, reflect and engage with our surroundings to find calm.
1.00pm | Optional Cold Water Dip with Anna
Anna is a paddle board instructor and knows a thing or two about cold water. Please note this is an optional extra for you to join in if you wish. If you're dipping in the water, ensure you bring suitable clothing and a warm drink.
